The day McLaurit was named was one of stillness and gravity. In a world that rushes to invent names that sound slick or futuristic, we did something different. We slowed down. We looked backward — not for nostalgia, but for grounding.


Laurito Verginio wasn’t just a grandfather. He was the living embodiment of what we believe: that integrity matters, that food should be made with care, that a man’s word should mean something. When he passed, something larger than grief emerged — a sense of duty. We weren’t just mourning him; we were called to continue him.


So we built McLaurit — part homage, part rebellion. A company that challenges the broken food systems he never trusted, and builds a future he would’ve believed in. The name McLaurit isn’t a brand asset. It’s our compass.
